From Brave New Spirits

The World Whiskies Awards is a highly anticipated event in the spirit industry. It brings together whisky enthusiasts, industry professionals and distinguished experts to celebrate the diversity and craftsmanship of the whisky industry. Paul Dempsey from Brave New Spirits Ltd. had the privilege to attend two wonderful evenings organized by the Whisky Magazine and collect a couple of meaningful awards for our amazing spirits.

The Scottish whisky industry, renowned for its exceptional spirits worldwide, gathered together once again for the annual Scottish Whisky Awards, organised by KD Media. We’re delighted and proud to say that three different whiskies from Brave New Spirits received awards this year.

Introducing our new series of exceptional bottles from iconic distilleries in Scotland. The Cask Masters honours the centuries of traditions and craftsmanship that have made Scotch whisky one of the world’s finest products. For each of The Cask Masters, we select only the most outstanding whiskies, all of which exhibit the provenance, age, and balance of flavours expected from the finest spirits.

Spirits Selection by CMB is an annual international spirits competition that aims to recognize and reward the best spirits from around the world. We are delighted that we received two of the four Gold Medals issued to Scottish producers and two Silver Medals.

We were delighted to hear the news from the Scottish Whisky Awards this morning, that 9 of our whiskies have been shortlisted for their awards this year.

Introducing the newest releases from the Cask Noir ‘studio’. The single-cask release of this new batch of Cask Noir offers an incredible selection of whiskies across different parts of Scotland, dominated by rare-to-come-by wine casks.

We are delighted to be able to share with you the exciting news that the planning permission for the Witchburn Distillery has been finally granted from Argyll & Bute council. The single malt whisky distillery will be built at the former RAF Machrihanish Airbase in Campbeltown, located between Campbeltown Airport and Machrihanish Village.

Six of our whiskies have been recognised in this year’s International Spirits Challenge (ISC). Medals were given to our Volume Brands Portfolio. We designed this range with larger groups and distributors in mind to show that great quality and great value can go hand-in-hand.
