WhiskyHeroes’ Adventure Continues: Third Release Now Unleashed!

We’re excited to share our Third Release of our WhiskyHeroes series! After the first two releases found their way onto shelves around the world, we’re keeping the momentum going with another batch of characterful bottlings. It’s been a brilliant journey so far — seeing whisky fans embrace the idea behind WhiskyHeroes has been a huge encouragement for our small team.

As always, we’re travelling across all corners of Scotland, with a mix of peated and unpeated gems to discover. Highlights include censored whisky from the Highlands, matured in a lively tequila cask, a bold 1st fill Tennessee Bourbon Barrel release, and the return of a fan-favourite style: rich, sherry-matured single malts that have always been a hit with WhiskyHeroes followers. Whether you’re after something smoky, sweet, spicy, or just downright different — we think there’s a new hero here for everyone.

Meet all of our 12 WhiskyHeroes from no. 3 release:

“THE WATCH”  - 13 year old  Mannochmore, finished in a 1st fill PX Sherry Barrique, 55.3% abv., 315 bottles in total.

“HIGHLAND HUNTRESS: A SILENT PURSUIT” – 9 year old Royal Brackla, finished in a  1st fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, 53.5% abv., 303 bottles in total.

“THE MIGHT OF THE MOOR” – 12 year old Auchroisk, finished in a 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Barrique, 57.2% abv., 302 bottles in total.

“FURY OF THE OBSIDIAN COLOSSUS” – 11 year old Ardmore, finished in a 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Barrique, 55.9% abv., 220 bottles in total

“ENIGMA OF THE ELITE” – 20 year old Blended Scotch Whisky, matured in bourbon hogshead, 44.7% abv.,  295 bottles in total

“THE UNTAMED GRACE” – 10 year old Ardlair from Ardmore, finished in a 1st fill PX Sherry Hogshead, 56.5% abv., 211 bottles in total

“EVENING BLAZE” – 13 year old Benrinnes, matured in a 1st fill Oloroso Hogshead, 54.9% abv., 312 bottles in total

“SILENT NIGHT” – 13 year old Benrinnes, finished in a 1st fill PX Sherry Barrique, 54.1% abv., 386 bottles in total

“BACK TO THE ROOTS” – 12 year old Linkwood, finished in a 1st fill Tennessee Bourbon Barrel, 56.7% abv., 379 bottles in total

“THE MASK OF EL PEATÓN” – 15 year old single malt from censored Highland distillery,  finished in a 1st fill Old Tequila Barrel, 50.9% abv.,  252 bottles in total

This newest range also includes two bottlings that will be released exclusively in Germany: an  11 year old Ardmore, matured in 2nd fill Laphroaig casks (55,6% abv, 242 bottles in total) and a 13 year old Dalrymple, finished in a 1st fill PX Sherry Quarter cask (57.9% abv, 170 bottles in total).

For anyone new to the series, WhiskyHeroes is all about celebrating great single casks and small batch whiskies from across Scotland. Big on flavour, full of individuality, and picked by hand, these bottlings are all about personality — the kind of drams you remember. Each whisky we select has its own story to tell, and we’re proud to give them a platform in the way only indie bottlers can.
