Voodoo Whisky Wins Big at World Whiskies Awards 2025

March 21, 2025

We’re honoured to share that our 'Mask of Death' bottling—a 10 year old Dailuaine from the Voodoo Whisky range—has been named Best Scotch Speyside Small Batch Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2025.

To receive this recognition among so many remarkable whiskies is something we’re truly grateful for. The World Whiskies Awards are among the most respected accolades in the industry, judged through a rigorous blind tasting by a panel of international experts. This year’s ceremony was held at the historic Waldorf Hotel in London, bringing together producers from across the globe to celebrate craftsmanship and innovation in whisky.

As part of our boundary-pushing Voodoo series, 'Mask of Death' embodies our commitment to delivering extraordinary cask strength single malts with attitude, intensity, and character. Matured in bourbon barrels and bottled at full strength, it showcases the rich, textured spirit of Dailuaine with plenty of boldness and depth and reflects our approach to selecting distinctive casks that speak for themselves.

“It’s been another incredible year for the World Whiskies Awards. We’ve tasted some truly exceptional products and it’s been wonderful to hear from passionate whisky producers and industry professionals from all over the world. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to all entrants. We can’t wait to see you next year!”  – Anita Ujszaszi, Awards Director

A big thank you to the World Whisky Awards team, the judges, and to all the producers and bottlers who continue to raise the bar. 'Mask of Death', like the rest of the Voodoo range, doesn’t shy away from bold flavours—or bold design. For those who connect with what we’re doing, we’re incredibly grateful for your support. You inspire us to keep exploring the edges of whisky.
