Brave New Spirits Wins at Spirits Selection 2025

We are delighted to share some exciting news, two of our whiskies have been honoured at this year’s Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one of the world’s most respected international competitions for spirits.
Held annually since 1999, Spirits Selection brings together a panel of industry experts, sommeliers, distillers, and journalists from across the globe to judge entries with impartiality and rigour. This year’s edition was the 27th, and it featured hundreds of spirits from over 60 countries, all assessed blind by a jury of specialists. To be recognised here is a true mark of quality and craftsmanship.
Our Award-Winning Whiskies
Gold Medal – Mask of Death II
From our bold and imaginative Voodoo series, Mask of Death II is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Dailuaine Distillery, matured in bourbon barrels and bottled at 55% ABV. Its character is layered with flavours of candied almonds, rosewater, dried flowers, honey and poppy seeds. Mask of Death has already received wide recognition, including being named Best Speyside Small Batch Single Malt and winning both a Category Winner and Gold Award at the World Whiskies Awards 2025.
Silver Medal – Back to the Roots
This 12 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood Distillery is part of our Whisky Heroes range — a series that celebrates distilleries with character and heritage. Finished in a first fill Tennessee bourbon barrel and bottled at 56.7% ABV, just 379 bottles were released, showing notes of spice, vanilla, stone fruits and flapjack.
These awards are a welcome recognition of the work we put into exploring whisky in different ways. With Whisky Heroes, we celebrate distinctive single malts that stand out for their individuality, while Voodoo gives us the freedom to be more experimental, weaving stories and character into each release. Both ranges reflect our belief that whisky should be full of discovery, and we’re delighted to see them acknowledged on the international stage.
We are deeply grateful to the Spirits Selection jury for this recognition, and to all whisky lovers around the world who continue to support and enjoy our bottlings.
